So there are no photographs of smiling staff on this page. When there are, they will be our actual captains, shot at the gate of the community they work in. Until then, here is exactly how we intend to hire and what we will hold ourselves to.
Four checks before anyone takes a booking.
Not a badge reading verification pending. If someone appears in the app, they are cleared.
Police verification
Through the Karnataka process, completed and on file before the first shift.
Address verification
Where they live, confirmed. Most associates will live in or beside the community they serve.
Two references
Called, not collected. We speak to both of them.
An interview in person
With the coordinator who will work alongside them, not a recruiter on a phone.
Employed, not gig.
Captains are on fixed shifts with PF and ESI. We own the vehicle and carry the fuel, insurance and maintenance ourselves.
This is a deliberately more expensive way to run the business. It exists because a driver carrying an EMI and a fuel bill has to chase hours to survive, and a person chasing hours is not the person you want in your home.
What we will not do
Charge anyone a joining fee, a deposit, or an onboarding charge. Not now, not ever. Anyone asking for money to join Runly is not from Runly.
